Nebras Energy, established in 1990 as Qatar Electricity & Water CO. (QEWC) a public shareholding company, is one of the first private-sector pioneers in the region operating in electricity generation and water desalination. Today, Nebras Energy is the primary provider of electricity and desalinated water for the State of Qatar, supporting the country’s rapid economic and population growth.
